In what is quickly becoming a yearly tradition, Hercules High hosted their always exciting 3rd Annual Dodgeball Touranment this past week in the gym.
In this bracket-style tournament, ten teams composed of students from all grades competed for the grand prize of five pizzas as eager students watched from the bleachers.
The rules of the competition were simple; knock out every member on the opposing team. If one catches the ball, a member of a team who was knocked out is allowed to re-enter. Competitors could use a dodgeball to block a ball that was thrown at them, but if said student drops the ball, they are considered out.
The tournament was certainly the best to date, as there were multiple instances when games that came down to a one-on-one scenario or featured incredible athleticism.
"Money Team" won this year's tournament in the Championship against "D-Boys."
Hercules may also hold another sports-style tournament in March Madness, but that event is still to be determined at a later time.
